staring out the window at the misty morning rain
my mind is flooded with thoughts of you
and it always puts a smile on my face
but you’re out of reach so far away
   every time i close my eyes
   i get lost inside a daydream
   it’s only you i’m thinking of

   i envision us together
   with or without you i’m in love
i spend every moment in my own little world
just imagining you’re here with me
breathtaking like a glimpse of heaven
a star that lights the darkness just for me
how i wish this wasn’t make believe
  memories just don’t compare to having your near
but for now my dreams are all i have to hold on to 
and everythjng reminds me of you
